(Global Alliance for Law Enforcement) as a prototype of a new living weapon. He's very arrogant and prides himself on his speed and power, but doesn't get to use it often. His birthday is only known to a select few G.A.L.E. scientists and he's considered ageless due to his partially mechanical nature. • Background •
Hurricane is the end result of Project Jetstream, an undertaking by G.A.L.E. to create a new type of living weapon. Not much is known about his creation even within G.A.L.E. itself. Only the team directly responsible for his creation know exactly how he came to be and most of them have mysteriously disappeared without a trace.
There are plenty of theories buzzing around such as "Hurricane being a dragon that was experimented on" or" that he was created with the data and DNA that G.A.L.E. collected during their experiments on their alien captive, Ulala." Regardless, the end result was a living bioweapon that could both fly at mach speed as well as survive the depths of the sea. |
G.A.L.E. weren't able to keep Hurricane under their control and he quickly made himself known to the world by blasting off on his own through the skies across the globe, alerting several countries' air defense forces before overheating and burning himself out in the arctic.
Since then he was moved to G.A.T.T.'s (Global Anti-Terror Taskforce) division where he was tasked with several missions, Some alone and some piloted, but almost always massive failures in some regard, also usually accidentally killing his pilot whenever he was being controlled by one.
After all of the attention he garnered it was impossible for G.A.L.E. to hide him. G.A.L.E. was forced to reveal him to the world officially and no longer treat him as property, making him a citizen of the world and not just a weapon. |
He appreciated the new freedom and but continued to work for G.A.T.T. for a few months...until he found out they had been cloning him without his knowledge. Each of the the clones were stripped of personality and emotion, sealed up to appear as robots. The second he found out, he abandoned G.A.T.T. and G.A.L.E. It didn't take long for D.A.M.E. members to find and recruit him to their side.
He currently resides within Calmwater, appearing to live a comparatively normal life doing odd jobs such as working for the Calmwater Construction and Maintenance Bureau (C.C.M.B.) and assisting the Calmwater Knights with monster attacks, but he also performs missions for D.A.M.E. in secret.

• Personality •
Hurricane is rather arrogant and is overconfident in his abilities. His ego is rather inflated making him rather easy to manipulate with praise, and he absolutely crumples if it's ever popped. Despite his pride in his skill, he's very lazy. If allowed, he would lie around all day until he was hungry or wanted to show off. He is generally considered unreliable by everyone he runs into, but when he actually gets a job done the results are usually phenomenal. He can be hard to get along, but ultimately just wants people to be proud of him. He cannot stand being referred to as a weapon, finding it demeaning and dehumanizing.
• Abilities •
Hurricane's body adapts between two main modes, Sky and Sea. Sky Mode grants him mach speed flight while Sea Mode gives him the ability to survive underwater and swim at high speeds. In both modes, his wrist fins double as sharp blades that can slice through thick metal. He appears rather smooth and soft with no obvious weapons externally, but his adaptive body conceals several weapons and tools. These include but aren't limited to: missiles, torpedoes, scatter mines, a cloaking device, and the ability to fire various beams from his mouth such as energy, fire, high pressure water, and even tractor beams. He also possesses very minimal regeneration thanks to nanomachines in him. Their main purpose is to allow him to transform without hurting himself and to take light damage in firefights.
He has two stomachs; One for food and fuel while the other is a safe "storage stomach" with multiple secondary functions. If he devours someone wearing a special "link up suit" into his storage stomach, they can control him manually. His storage stomach has an emergency fuel mode to prevent him from prematurely running out of fuel and crashing. Unfortunately, most of his past pilots have passed away due to being swallowed down into the wrong stomach or accidentally getting ̶c̶̶̶o̶̶̶u̶̶̶g̶̶̶h̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶̶̶u̶̶̶p̶̶̶ ejected mid-flight.
For all of his strength, Hurricane has a notable weakness in the form of a design flaw: He has to stop and vent out steam after extended periods of flight or combat. If Hurricane doesn't vent his steam, he becomes overheated, sluggish, and will eventually be forced to shut down to prevent his body from violently exploding. Due to this, he tends to finish fights fast and adopts a hit-and-run fighting style.
